| I first heard this song on a mixed tape that i recieved in 1995.I heard the song and declared that when I had a child that that would be "Our Song". A few months later,I found out that I was pregnant! My wonderful baby girl was born in June of 1996! There were complications with her birth, and she was in NICU for a month and a half. At her birth(as soon as I held her), and whenever I would visit her, I would sing her "Our Song", this song is wonderful, beautiful, and full of LOVE!!!!! P.S. my daughters great now, 10 years old, tallet than I am, and we wear the same size shoes!! She's still growing!!! She also has come to know this as "Our Song"!!! We Love IT!!! |

| I used to look at this song as the perfect wedding song. However, I now realize that it is a when ever song. You really don't need a special moment or occassion to be in love with it but my special memory of this song was on August 2nd 2004 when I gave birth to twins. My husband knowing that I hadn't seen them since birth due to complications, took pictures and made a picture slide with the music. I know that it was partly emotions due to my crazy hormones but, I watched it over and over and I cried and I cried. It gave me a whole new outlook on the song and that is something that I will forever treasure. |

| In the later 1980's My good little Catholic wife had something overcome her and from being a wonderful wife, mother and lover she left me and wanted o live a little on the wild side I guess. God how it hurt and for 2 years I thought I would die. I stumbled on this song with Teddy Pendergast and I would ride arounmd almost all night playing it over and over. It still brings tears to my eyes when the chorus comes in with the higher and higher lines. I lived obviously and have many happu days since, but it still brings tears to my eyes. I bet I wore out 2 tapes ------its a gut wrencher in certain cases-------------love to all------hang on. |
