Beautiful song, and this is the best transcription of the lyrics I've found. I was actually able to get a decent translation of the Italian through Google. Just a couple of points:
"restera" should be "resterà" ("remain")
Google translates "sei" as "six"; in this context it should be "you are".
So the first Italian verse translates roughly as:
