So does anyone understand that this song is about the guy and his kid. And hes talking about how he loved his kid before it was born and that his life is complete now that he has a kid. Its not a love song, well at least not in that way. Its about a guy loving his kid and his life being complete due to the birth of that child. Sorry if that dissapoints you but i thought you should know so you can stop telling everyone it fits with " you and your boyfriend".
